PROCEDURE:

​

The artist works from digital photos taken in a studio setting or in the client’s home or office. These are reviewed with the client at the time of the sitting. The process begins with client discussions regarding wardrobe, mood, coloration, pose, and canvas size. The formal sitting of about one hour follows, under studio lighting, in a variety of poses and lightings.

 

A full size drawing is presented to the client for approval before the painting is begun. When the client’s time permits, the head is painted from life in three two-hour sittings.

 

A deposit of 40% will be due in advance. Balance is due at the completion of commission and acceptance by the client.

 

NOT INCLUDED: Framing, shipping/crating, and sales tax, if required.

 

TRAVEL: THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR TRAVEL TO MOST CITIES.
